So I picked up a MagicJack after hearing so many praises from a few friends. The unit costs $39.95 and that includes the 1st year of calls. Each year thereafter is only $19.95! All you need is a PC and broadband connection. The setup was super easy, just plug in the card and it automatically downloads software and makes you register for your telephone # with the area code of your choice.
It’s been awhile since I’ve used a house phone, who still uses those anyways? Even my parents have switched to cell phones only. But, this is cheap enough to keep around @ $20 a year for unlimited calls! Anyways, so I received a free phone from Robert that he got from his BOC (Bag-o-crap) from Woot. It was a refurbished phone, but turned out to not work after replacing the unit with new batteries.
There seems to be new technology out for home phones that do not interfere with other wireless signals in your household. The old technolgy was 5.8ghz, now there is DECT 6.0. I’ll be doing some research and picking up a DECT 6.0 handset in the near future.
On a side note, Happy Birthday to my cousin Tony from the Bay Area! Hope you have a great birthday! Don’t get too wasted…we gotta party again sometime soon!
Also, I was told from a friend (Baoser) that free slurpies are given out today at 7-11’s. Simply walk into the store and say: “Happy 7-11 Day” and the clerk will give you a small slurpie!
Well I apologize for the lack of blogging for those who peruse the site. I’ve never been busier my entire life, I don’t know what to make of it yet.
I’ve already racked over 3,000 miles onto the Fit since I got it. I also added some mods to it:
Smoked/Red LED tails from Depo & JDM Chrome Fit badge with Red Dot.

Needed this too! Broadway Type-A Convex Mirror (for tinted windows) 240mm

Also added JDM Honda Access slim window visors!
That’s all for now, I should have some more albums to add to my gallery. More later!
Been a long time since my last blog! My most exciting piece of news would have to be my new car! A 2008 Honda Fit Sport in Blackberry Pearl!
Being that this was my first new car purchase, I learned a lot by going to many dealerships and haggling with all of them. I feel like I got an ok deal, but could have been better if I wasn’t so nervous/scurred. The paperwork/jargon used was a bit much but I don’t think I was taken advantage of. Some of the stealerships I went to were Longo Toyota, Spirit Honda, Honda World, and Hardin Honda. By far, Spirit Honda & Hardin Honda had the best staff. I ended up buying my car at Hardin Honda.

This is a great car, it gets 27 streets, 34 highway with a ~10 gallon tank. I’ve already driven over 100+ miles the first day! The sport suspension is great and it has great throttle response!
Here’s the full video release of SC’s Gone Wild! Thanks to Phu, Philipe, Sean, James, George, and Jeriel for making it a great success! I had a blast doing it and it really renewed my love for the car I was so tempted to sell! There’s already talks of Part 2! I can’t wait…hopefully have some more power to show off on the next video
.
C&C welcome!
Spent Saturday on the road recording the rest of the SC’s Gone Wild video…although a car short, it was still a great shoot! Thanks to Phu (PhuShizzle), PhuTography.com for his dedication to this project! Well, enough chat, on to the video!
Had a nice little get together at CA 8 Mon (8 courses of fish) for my early birthday. Thanks to everyone for your birthday wishes and to everyone who was able to make it out on kinda short notice. I had a great time seeing everyone again, sure miss the good ole’ days when we all had nothing to do! The after party was great as well, thanks Thaoie for offering your pad for us to hang out at.
Well, part 2 of the video below is scheduled for March 8th. I’m very excited and can’t wait to get this video shoot done. Some new things changing with my car, I can’t believe I’m doing it, but it’s being sold into pieces! Wheels have been sold, brakes, and my air suspension! Of course I will still have the car, it’ll be getting a makeover =)
Been wanting to do a SC video for the longest time now. PhuShizzle Productions was down for the task and put together a great half day of shooting. Many thanks to Phu for putting together a nice preview after only 1 day! Enjoy the video!
Also, I finally added 2 more albums below for Superbowl XVII and Anaheim 3 SX.
